This section is always hard to fill in. I’m terrible at describing myself so I will use words that people use to describe me.
Loyal. Reliable. Genuine. Personable. Humble. Passionate. Dedicated. Resilient. Opinionated. Listener.
I grew up in southern Ontario in Canada. I believe that’s where many of my characteristics come from. Canadians are (stereotypically) genuine, humble, loyal and personable people. Most of them anyway. I feel I have taken those traits with a pinch of humility to become the base for the person I am.
I’m the middle child in a family of 5 with my mom and dad and two brothers. I think that’s where I get my more outgoing personality from. I needed to stand out so I developed a personality that would help that.
I think my dedication and loyalty come from the same place. I don’t want to ever give up on anyone or anything until I know I’ve given my all. My passion results in my whole heart and soul being put into anything I do. This has caused heartbreak because with passion and dedication comes the odd disappointment that can tear someone down. This is where my resilient nature comes from. Resiliency come from never giving up on passion and dedication. I am opinionated but not just just to hear my own voice. With knowledge and passion, my resiliency and other personality traits result in an opinionated person. I’m not one to push my opinions or beliefs on anyone. I love to listen. It’s a trait I feel is one of my best. I not only hear but I try to understand and comprehend what I am listening to. It all creates a recipe that makes me, me.
